Our Favorite Engagement Session Locations in Edmond, OK (From a Local Husband & Wife Team)
Hey guys, Rob here! If there’s one thing Ciara and I have learned from capturing weddings and engagements all over Oklahoma City and beyond, it’s that your photos shouldn't feel like a stiff, awkward photoshoot. They should just feel like you.
Since Edmond is our home base, we spend a lot of time scouting the absolute best spots right in our own backyard. We want you to feel relaxed, comfortable, and totally in your element. Here are three of our absolute favorite places in Edmond to shoot engagement sessions.

1. Mitch Park: The Natural Classic
We love Mitch Park for that classic, natural Oklahoma vibe. With over 400 acres of trails, trees, and tall grass, we have so much room to just let you two walk, hold hands, and be yourselves.
The "golden hour" light out here is incredible for our True to Color style. It catches the trees perfectly and gives everything a warm, romantic glow. It’s quiet, easy to navigate, and perfect if you want a beautiful nature backdrop without having to hike miles out of the city.

2. Downtown Edmond: Urban Charm & Character
If you want something a little more chic and modern, Downtown Edmond is our go-to. Ciara and I love taking couples walking down the historic brick sidewalks and finding cool, textured alleyways and murals.
It has so much character, giving your gallery a fun "date night in the city" feel without the heavy traffic and chaos of downtown OKC. We usually just stroll around, finding great pockets of light, which makes the whole session feel effortless.

3. Ellis Island Coffee & Wine: The Cozy Date
Sometimes the best photos happen when you actually do something together. We love meeting couples at Ellis Island. It’s cozy, intimate, and feels incredibly authentic.
You guys can grab a latte or a glass of wine (I'll probably be fueled by my usual Caramel Machiato behind the camera!), and we just capture the two of you talking, laughing, and hanging out. It takes all the pressure of "posing" away and results in the most genuine, candid smiles we could ever ask for.
